Deep inside a bottle dark,
The Raven rests, a captive lark,
With wings that beat against the glass,
He longs to fly, to be free at last.
His feathers black as a starless night,
His eyes so bright, they shine with light,
The Raven in the bottle is a mystery,
A sight to see, but not in history.
For how he got there, no one knows,
Perhaps a curse, or a wicked foe,
But what is clear, is the Raven's plight,
Trapped in a bottle, without a flight.
So let us free the Raven from his prison,
And restore to him his freedom and reason,
For no bird should be trapped in a bottle,
And robbed of the sky, without a throttle.
