God spoke to Moses on the mount,
With plans of beauty to recount,
A dwelling place, both grand and bright,
A sacred tent, a holy sight.
Exquisite curtains, dyed with care,
Fine gold and silver everywhere,
With acacia wood, skilled hands would craft,
The Tabernacle, a treasure to be left.
An Ark of gold, with cherubim,
A mercy seat, a throne for Him,
Inside, the tablets of the law,
A symbol of God's holy awe.
A table, too, with bread of show,
A lampstand with a radiant glow,
Altar of incense, sweet and pure,
The Tabernacle, a place secure.
With offerings given from willing hearts,
The Tabernacle, a work of art,
A dwelling place for God on earth,
A sanctuary of priceless worth.
Exodus Chapter 25, a blueprint true,
Of God's design, revealed anew,
A vision of splendor, a heavenly call,
To build a sanctuary for the Lord of all.
