Palate today: for my 15 min of art focus this week.
I have a gallon of white ceiling paint that has been unused. Even though it has vocs, I'm hard up for enough paint to use. So there's a way to water it down and make it a little bit less brittle for paper or maybe even cardboard gesso. And then to mix up small batches with the acrylics that I have for pigment. I can post some recipes, but it seems that adding a little aloe vera might just make it so that I can snap a photo but get some painting in.
Actually my 1gal ceiling paint settled, so there's low to no white and it looks like a translucent wash of some binder and water mixed alone with some color (Blue). I'm going to use it on cardboard since it warps the paper I have.
