Old Japan, wide angle shot of an old mythical taoist in turquoise robes suspended in mid air in levitation position, eyes closed, holding a sword up high with his right arm, among bamboo grove under heavy rain & gale, style of Floris Arntzenius and Ambrogio Lorenzetti, oil ink and watercolor modifiers: oil on canvas, pen and ink, high detail, high definition, crisp quality, romantic, moody & dark.
During the Muromachi Period (1337-1573) the smith Muramasa challenged smith Masamune to see who could make a higher quality sword.
"To test the swords, each sword was held into the current of a stream. Muramasa's sword was said to have cut a leaf in half by simply touching the blade. But Masamune's sword did not cut a thing. The leaves miraculously avoided the blade at the last second, as if the blade possessed a benevolent power that would not harm anything innocent or undeserving - even a simple leaf!"
