In Deuteronomy, blessings and woes, God's promises and warnings, He bestows. Chapter twenty-eight, a sobering call, To heed His voice and follow His law. If you obey with heart and soul, God's commandments, pure and whole, Blessings will abound, a gracious shower, In every aspect of life's hour. Your crops will flourish, your flocks increase, Your enemies scattered, your path at peace. God's favor upon you, a shining light, Guiding you with love and might. But if you turn from His decree, And follow idols, wickedly, Curses will descend, a heavy weight, Bringing sorrow, fear, and fate. Your crops will fail, your flocks decrease, Your enemies conquer, your joy will cease. God's wrath upon you, a warning dire, Urging you to turn from sinful fire. So choose this day to follow the Lord, In Deut, Chapter Twenty-Eight's accord. For blessings and curses, a path to choose, Obey His word, and never lose.
