More about Offerings Pure, Leviticus Chapter 2 Poem

Grain and oil, a gift so sure,
Offered to God, devotion pure,
From Israelites, with hearts ablaze,
In Leviticus, Chapter 2, His praise.
Unleavened, without any yeast,
A token of thanksgiving, a sacred feast,
Mixed with frankincense, a fragrant prayer,
Rising to heaven, with reverence and care.
No honey or leaven, no sourdough,
Simple and unadorned, as God did bestow,
Symbolic of a life that's free from sin,
A sweet surrender, a humble kin.
In Leviticus, Chapter 2, we find,
The beauty of worship, heart and mind,
A gesture of love, an offering pure,
To honor the Almighty, forever sure.
