In Deuteronomy Chapter 2,
The journey continues for the chosen few.
Through the desert, they treaded on,
For forty years, till the old were gone.
The wilderness was vast and wide,
God's guiding cloud, their faithful guide.
They learned to trust in His provision,
Amidst the trials and harsh condition.
They passed by Edom and Moab's land,
But they could not enter, as God had planned.
For the promise of Canaan was yet to be,
And their faith in God was key.
They faced challenges, battles, and foes,
But God's protection always rose.
With manna from heaven and water from rock,
God's love sustained them round the clock.
They learned obedience, they learned to wait,
And never doubted God's faithful state.
Their shoes did not wear out, their clothes did not fade,
For God's provision never delayed.
Deuteronomy Chapter 2 teaches us still,
To trust in God's plan, and follow His will.
To persevere in faith through life's wilderness,
And experience His loving-kindness.
So let us learn from Israel's plight,
To walk by faith and not by sight.
With God as our guide, we'll never be lost,
For His faithfulness comes at no cost.
