More about Gérard de Gerbille's Disturbing Dream about the Luminous Meteors and the Liberated Bogavantes

Gérard de Gerbille had a dream where he was turned into a stone bogavante in a residential area. Gérard was chained to other stone bogavantes, having lost his autonomy and constantly being pulled around via the chains, wherever his handlers wanted him to go. Then one day, a strange light fell from the sky, and all of the metal chains of enslavement became corroded and eventually disintegrated. The liberated bogavanted statues developed cracks and started crumbing apart, and could no longer move. The statues eventually became overgrown with moss and ferns, having been forgotten. Nearby a very happy garden gnome smiled at the bogavante with a hungry grin, while thinking about garlic butter and metal shell crackers used to open up crab legs.
