ArtistThe seafood milkshake is topped with whipped cream and orange caviar, and has a striped, paper sipping straw inserted into the drink. There is also a large, curved prawn draped over the rim of the glass, and a small, raw fish head is first cut and then wedged onto the rim of the glass, as garnish. The milkshake has orange caviar eggs visible, mixed in. The milkshake is nearly white, with a faint orange tinge conferred by the orange fish eggs blended in. Surrounding the seafood milkshake are piles of clams, cooked octopus legs, shrimp, oysters, lobsters, raw fish, French fries and seaweed. In the foreground of the picture, the tail of a grey tabby cat is visible, but only the tail. The milkshake and the seafood completely cover every inch of the marble counter top of a bar or saloon that serves alcoholic beverages. In the background of the picture, old wooden shelves of neatly arranged liquor bottles are visible, as well as several old paintings in golden frames that are hung on wooden paneling. An antique sign is hung near the liquor bottles on the old wooden shelves that reads: “Rosenmontag’s Bar”. The entire picture is completely photographic.
Close up vertical shot shows a tall glass of seafood milkshake in a restaurant on a white marble table in front of a wooden wall with various bottles on a shelf. A dollop of whipped cream on top of the milkshake is garnished with orange salmon roe and a red and white paper straw. A large boiled shrimp hangs on the edge of the glass and a fish head is stuck in the whipped cream. Surrounding the glass of milkshake are seafood including an octopus, clams, oysters, shrimp, fries and a cat tail in the right foreground.
