ArtistInside the Hall of the Living Heart, a gigantic floating circle of glowing memories dominates the entire chamber, filling the room with swirling golden visions from the past. At the very center of the memory circle stands a lonely young traveler wearing a long dark cloak with torn edges like burned parchment, his face blurred and impossible to recognize, surrounded by shimmering fragments of forgotten memories. Around the outer edge of the hall, Mara and Liora quietly watch the vision while Biblior, Memoris, Ticko and Klemmi observe from different positions, naturally spread throughout the room instead of posing together. Ancient wooden pillars engraved with thousands of glowing names surround the hall, while the newly appearing names "Mara" and "Liora" softly shine on two nearby pillars. A radiant humanoid guardian made entirely of flowing golden light watches the vision with deep sadness. Beside Klemmi stands Sir Fegalot, the enchanted broom, permanently wearing his signature tiny black top hat decorated with a small elegant golden feather exactly as established in previous chapters, proudly standing upright with expressive magical personality. The enormous Living Heart illuminates everything with warm golden light, emotional, mysterious, cinematic fantasy, ultra detailed, highly realistic, masterpiece, dynamic composition, no character lineup, no group portrait, the mysterious traveler is the clear visual focus, 4:3. The Cottage of the Vanished Wizard Chapter 9 – The Nameless One Part 3 – The Names Within the Heart
The Hall of the Living Heart was quieter than ever after the shadow had vanished. The golden streams of light flowing around the enormous sphere moved more slowly now, as though the cottage itself needed to catch its breath after every heartbeat. Mara felt Liora gently take her hand and squeezed it tightly. For a single instant the darkness had swallowed every ray of light. Yet what frightened her most had not been the darkness itself. It had been the feeling that something was missing. Not an object. Not a sound. A name. A trace of someone who had existed only moments before and had suddenly slipped out of the world itself. The radiant guardian remained motionless before the pillar where the empty space had appeared. "He does not merely steal names," the guardian said softly. "He severs every bond connected to them." Biblior carefully touched the pale wood. "That is why none of us can remember who stood here." Memoris nodded sadly. "When a name is torn from every memory, no story remains to carry it." Ticko looked up at the great golden sphere. "But why has he come here?" Slowly the guardian turned toward Mara and Liora. "Because nowhere else are so many names protected. And because today the Heart has welcomed two new ones." Mara blinked in surprise. "Ours?" "Yes." The guardian raised a glowing hand. Two delicate inscriptions slowly appeared upon neighboring pillars. They were not deeply carved like the older names but shimmered like fresh sunlight upon polished wood. Mara. Liora. Their names pulsed gently in perfect rhythm with the Living Heart. Liora stepped closer, unable to hide her amazement. "But we've only been here for such a short time." Biblior smiled warmly. "Sometimes a single day is enough to become part of a story—especially if that day includes a magical spice rack, a talking coffee pot, a mischievous smartphone, and an overly confident broom." Klemmi folded his arms. "For the record, that broom still has no officially recognized noble title." Right on cue, Mara's smartphone vibrated. Its screen lit up by itself. Official Review Complete. Temporary Status Approved: Sir Fegalot of Dustington. The broom immediately performed an elegant bow so dramatic that its tiny black top hat nearly tumbled off. "Temporary!" Klemmi protested. "That word is extremely important!" The phone added another message. Temporary. Estimated duration: Forever. Even the guardian could not suppress a quiet smile, and Liora laughed despite everything that had happened. Mara, however, could not take her eyes off her own glowing name. It radiated warmth unlike ordinary light. She could actually feel it, as though an invisible thread now connected her heart to the Living Heart of the cottage itself. "He noticed our names," she whispered. The guardian nodded gravely. "New names shine brighter than old ones.
