In a dim cave, a silvery dragon hatchling breaks free from a cracked mercury egg. Its head and front legs emerge, wings and tail still inside. Surrounding it, a trove of gold, gems, and weapons glint in the shadows, evidence of the vast inheritance left to the dragonling.
