Artist
A solitary bird takes flight,
In search of warmth on chilly night,
Its wings beat strong against the breeze,
As it soars above the barren trees.
Alone it flies, no flock in sight,
A lonely journey through the night,
Yet still it sings a sweet refrain,
Hoping company it may attain.
Through mist and fog, it perseveres,
A longing heart, it silently bears,
But still it flies with all its might,
A lonely bird in endless flight.
