Weeping Liberty

More about Weeping Liberty

A close-up, high-angle digital painting features the Statue of Liberty, with an olive-green crown and spikes, shedding large, glassy tears from her downcast right eye. The statue's face, made of a worn, textured gray stone with hints of green and brown, conveys sadness, enhanced by deep shadows around her eyes and the detailed rendering of her hair and toga. The background is a bright, clear blue sky with fluffy white and beige clouds, creating a stark contrast to the emotional expression of the statue. The lighting emphasizes the texture and depth of the statue, with highlights on the tears and shadows adding to the somber mood.
