Just the wrong season
Surrealist artwork with an aged appearance depicting a mysterious, solemn-faced bald woman in the foreground with pale skin and dark, downturned lips looking directly at the viewer with wide, luminous white eyes that lack pupils. Her head and shoulders are centered and encompass much of the mid-ground. Her body is an abstract, geometric shape composed of various shades of warm orange with darker areas that suggest depth. In the background a bright white full moon is visible against a dark blue sky, partially obscured by a rectangular yellow beam of light that extends from the upper left corner to the head of the woman. Another opposing rectangular orange beam of light is visible extending from the upper right corner to the lower right corner. The background is divided into blue and orange sections by diagonal lines. At the bottom of the image, centered below the woman's face, a small, silhouetted figure of a person dressed in a dark coat stands on a dark walkway or bridge, facing away from the viewer. The entire scene is framed by a decorative, textured wooden border with curved corners and etched details. The artwork has a distressed, textured, and grunge-like finish, with visible brushstrokes and faded colors that give it an ancient or worn feel.
