Prompt

**LUMO THE LITTLE REPAIR ROBOT – STORY 7: THE WRENCH THAT FOUND ANOTHER WAY HOME** Use **Reference Image 1 for Lumo’s exact established appearance** and **Reference Image 2 for Captain Sera’s exact established appearance and the established science-fantasy spacecraft design language**. Create a **4:3 realistic painterly fantasy storybook illustration**, cinematic, highly detailed, mysterious but warm. Scene: **Last Light Station, an ancient mechanical repair station floating in deep space.** Lumo and Captain Sera stand together on a simple metal docking platform. Preserve Lumo exactly from Reference 1: small friendly repair robot with his distinctive glowing glass light-bulb head, mechanical body and tool bag. Lumo holds his favourite steel wrench in one hand and his glowing star-compass in the other. Preserve Captain Sera from Reference 2. She stands slightly behind Lumo, watching the same mysterious arrival. Directly in front of them floats **ONE ancient abandoned spacecraft**, the main visual focus. It must clearly be a **science-fantasy spaceship, NOT a sailing ship**. No masts, no cloth sails, no pirate-ship shape. Give it an old metal hull, rounded mechanical sections, small windows, pipes, panels and faint blue engine lights. It looks approximately three hundred years old, weathered and damaged but still functional. The spacecraft has docked beside them. Its side door is open and filled with darkness. Standing partly inside the doorway is a mysterious **ancient repair robot** approximately Lumo’s size. It must clearly be a different and much older robot, with an antique mechanical body and worn metal surfaces. Keep most details in shadow. Its most important feature is a **warm glowing glass light-bulb head**, visually echoing Lumo’s own bulb. Lumo stares at the ancient robot in astonishment. His own bulb glows brighter in response. Behind them show only part of Last Light Station: an old floating mechanical structure with pipes, gears, antennas and a warm golden energy beacon. **Do not make it look like a terrestrial lighthouse.** In the distant background, show only a few small dark silhouettes of other abandoned spacecraft, clearly futuristic or mechanical and without sails. Beautiful thin **blue and golden luminous routes** curve through the star field toward distant points of light, suggesting the newly awakened network of lost routes. Composition must be clean and easy to understand: **Lumo and Sera in foreground → one ancient spacecraft → my

Lumo the Little Repair Robot – Story 7: The Wrench That Found Another Way Home
Lumo spent eleven minutes searching his toolbox before accepting that his favourite wrench was not inside it. He checked beneath the workbench, behind the copper-wire drawer and inside Mrs. Pindle’s kettle. “Why would it be in there?” she asked. “I am eliminating possibilities.” “You repaired a station between the stars yesterday and lost the tool you used to repair it.” Lumo’s glass-bulb head dimmed. “That is an unnecessarily accurate summary.” Somewhere beyond the morning sky, Last Light Station floated beside a forgotten blue route, and somewhere on its workbench lay a steel wrench with a scratch across its handle. Lumo had repaired clocks, kettles, bicycles, windmills and one extremely uncooperative mechanical duck with it. “I could use another wrench,” he said. Mrs. Pindle nodded. “You have seven.” “They are not that wrench.” A metallic knock came from above. His star-compass hung on the wall, its silver needle pointing straight upward. “Oh no,” Mrs. Pindle said. “Oh good,” said Lumo. Outside, a thin blue line appeared across the daylight sky. Something small travelled along it, dropped through the chimney and landed among the ashes. It was a brass cylinder containing a strip of silver paper. Three words glowed upon it: **MECHANIC REQUIRED AGAIN.** Mrs. Pindle sighed. “You were home for one night.” The message changed. **URGENT. BRING COMPASS. WRENCH SAFE.** Lumo’s bulb brightened. “They have my wrench.” “Apparently they know how to motivate you.” By sunset Captain Sera’s ship descended over Bramblewick. Lumo climbed aboard carrying his toolbox, star-compass and two spare wrenches. “Only two?” Sera asked. “I am travelling lightly.” The ship rose beyond the clouds and entered the silver currents between the stars. Lumo expected Sera to steer toward Last Light Station. Instead she led him to the command deck. Blue lines crossed a glowing chart. “We have a problem,” she said. “Mechanical?” Lumo asked hopefully. “Possibly.” “Good.” “The station you repaired has been turning old routes back on. Not all of them lead somewhere that still exists.” “Less good.” Beyond the window, the familiar blue trail divided into three. One curved toward a moon, another vanished into a cloud of stars, and the third continued into darkness. Lumo’s star-compass pointed toward the dark route. “That path appeared two hours ago,” Sera said. “Where does it go?” “Nowhere on any chart.” “Then we should probably look.” “That is exactly what you said yesterday.” “It worked yesterday.” The ship entered the dark route. Stars vanished until only the blue line remained beneath the hull. Lumo listened. Tick. Pause. Tick. Pause. Then another sound answered it. Clink. Pause. Clink. “Something is travelling toward us.” Sera stopped the ship. A tiny silver object appeared ahead, turning slowly end over end. Lumo stared. “My wrench.” It struck the window with a small *ting*. Sera looked at him. “Did your wrench just travel through space by itself?” “It has never done that before.” The wrench continued past the ship and travelled back along the route. “It wants us to follow.” Sera turned the ship. “I am beginning to dislike your tools.” They followed the wrench until Last Light Station appeared. But it was no longer alone. Dozens of ships surrounded the floating island: silver-sailed Nightway vessels, rusted freighters, tiny wooden craft and machines Lumo could not identify. None moved. “Where did they come from?” Sera whispered. The station’s golden beacon swept across them. Every ship was empty. For several moments nobody moved. One ancient vessel drifted close enough for Lumo to see through its windows. Cups still stood on a table. A coat hung beside a doorway. A small brass clock continued ticking on the wall, although nobody could have wound it for centuries. Another ship carried baskets filled with objects resembling blue apples, perfectly preserved beneath silver dust. “They weren’t abandoned normally,” Lumo said. Sera looked toward the silent fleet. “What does normally abandoned look like?” “More untidy.” A lantern suddenly flickered aboard the nearest vessel. Another answered farther away. One by one, lights appeared throughout the fleet, as though the ships were waking because Lumo had arrived. His star-compass pulsed against his satchel. Tick. Pause. Tick. The sound travelled from ship to ship until the entire silent harbour seemed to be ticking with him. Sera stepped closer. “Lumo?” “Yes?” “I think they know you’re here.” Lumo considered the surrounding ships. “That seems unnecessarily personal.” His wrench descended toward the tower. Their ship docked and Lumo stepped onto the platform. His wrench lay waiting on the boards. He picked it up. “Thank you.” It remained a wrench. “That is reassuring.” Inside the tower, the ancient compass machine spun faster than before. Seven of its eight arms moved smoothly.
