An arrogant male apprentice of Theurgy leads a forbidden evocation ritual with a group of 4 unsuspecting plebeians. The group sits around a gnarly wooden roundtable in a dank abandoned Gothic crypt, dimly illuminated by torches and candles. There is a notable pentagram filling the tabletop, 1 star corner points at each participant. Countless runes and sigils are carved haphazardly on everything wooden in sight. The participants exchange concerned looks as they realize the ominous nature of their situation. The apprentice with a sinister smile stands at the top point of the star, studying a massive demonic tome. The book seemed to consume nearby light and scratch the fabric of space around it, an unworldly glow of crimson smoldering embers from within.
