Artistone bagpiper in Winslow Homer style
An elderly man with a long beard wears a wide-brimmed hat adorned with a feather and a leaf. He holds bagpipes, exuding a rustic charm and a sense of musical tradition. The bottom section of each of the three drones has a remarkable similarity to a certain kind of rough repair done on some stands of pipes in which they have used a lot of hemp to cover some split in the wood covering it up with black paint or some such coating. It works but never looks good again.
