More about Coffee Time With My Cat

This is part of a series of experiments in which I’ve tried to mimic scenes in the story, “A Mousehole Cat,” by illustrator Nicola Bayley. Unlike some of the others, this image resulted in a style similar to, but not exactly like Bayley’s style.

It was fun trying to get this right, but some of my other attempts were so similar to the originals, that they are perfect examples of AI having the capacity to “steal” style. Since I have no plans to commercially publish any of these, I consider them to be an “homage” to Nicola Bayley…imitation being the most sincere form of flattery and all that.
