Prompt: I have always had very vivid dreams. Some lucid with a bit of control. Now in my 40's I can still remember nightmares and reoccurring dreams from my childhood. One in particular that has stayed with me was from my early teen years. I was asleep and awoke gently. I did not move just opened my eyes. I could see a lady in white standing at my dresser looking at and picking items up from the dresser. I wasn't afraid at this time I just continued to watch. I might have moved or made some sound when the lady suddenly turned to look at me. I felt that I was not supposed to see her. In an instant she was rushing (flying) toward me and was hovering right above me as I stayed lying down, too terrified to move. She opened her mouth wide and an otherworldly scream pierced the silence. I don't remember waking up, but she was suddenly gone and I was alone. It was terrifying.
