This is Fava Bean- the very first dolly I ever horrified back in 2004. I gave her to my husband. Style was made from a dream, a photo of a corner of our livingroom, & 2 of my other photos.
Before & after photos of the "Blood Mime" dolly I made for my friend Charlie (Pinkstylist on youtube. Please check him out! He's amazing!) The doll is based on one of Charlie's original looks. The style is made of 3 dreams & a photo I took of a tree.
Before & after photos of a dolly I made for my friend Charlie (Pinkstylist on youtube). I took inspiration from Charlie's "Barrel Face" sfx makeup tutorial. I borrowed the style from Natalie :)
Me eating a well deserved slice of pizza after shooting a horror/comedy short all day. I was too hungry to take my makeup off first...haha! I probably ate some makeup. Style was made from 3 dreams & a photo of a corner of our livingroom.
I always do progress pictures when I'm practicing SFX makeup. This look came from a tutorial by my friend Charlie (Pinkstylist on the youtubes). He's amazing! This took about 3 hours to finish. I borrowed this cool style from Siouxsie :)
A weird practice SFX makeup look I did on myself. The "mouth" is actually on my nose & the "nostrils" are on the bridge of my nose. Style is made from 3 dreams & a photo of a corner of our livingroom.
Unfinished practice SFX makeup I did on my face. Not my best, but I had fun...haha! Style was made from 3 of my dreams & a photo I took of our neighbor's tree.
This is Mr. Clemmish- named by a little boy I babysat once. Mr. Clemmish is a weird flower pot that I zombified with paint. He happily guards our front porch. Style is a photo of a corner of our livingroom.
This is Lucretia. She's an animatronic possessed lady who I painted up, made weird fingernails for, dressed in my clothes, hung on the livingroom wall & made a talk show with. I borrowed another awesome style from Siouxsie.
This is how our Manders (Amanda) kitty asks me to play "string" every morning. She rarely meows. She just sits & stares...haha! I borrowed the style from Siouxsie :)
Drawing I did for a friend. She got the version w/out the dumb lighting effect...haha! I didn't understand layers in Photoshop when I put that effect on. I don't remember who the style came from.
Drawing I did for a friend. Ignore the cheesy lighting effect. I did that in Photoshop before I knew how Photoshop works....haha! I forget where the style came from.
Before I had a computer, I had an old-school photocopier. I photocopied a dolly, an x-ray & torn paper - double exposure idea but different application :) Style grabbed from nic.
I made these dollies for an artist named Ben Templesmith. He commissioned me to make the doll on the left for director David Slade. I almost threw up w/excitement when I found out who it was for! Haha! Murder Bunny & the middle dolly still live with Ben :)
The moment my friend Charlie got the dolly I made for him. Please have a look at his SFX makeup tutorials on youtube! He's awesome. His name is Pinkstylist over there. The dolly is based on a tutorial he did called Blood Mime. Style= two of my previously d
My Blood Mime dolly again. I made him for my friend Charlie aka Pinkstylist who does SFX makeup tutorials. Blood Mime dolly is based on one of his tutorials. Style= two of my previously dreamed arts.

Ahhh! Well, this is different...haha! This is a wood burning project I've been working on. I drew a wormy doodle on a piece of wood. It takes FOREVER to burn the design in!
Back in 1996 I had the honor of meeting Peter Steele from Type O Negative. What a sweet human being he was. So humble. We had a lovely conversation that I'll never forget. RIP Mr. Steele.
Getting ready to do a short horror/comedy shoot. Manders kitty supervised. I did sfx makeup on a friend of ours to make him look like Baron Samedi. Style grabbed from Woytek Thomas.
Sideshow dolly I made for Jim Rose & his wife BeBe. Jim Rose used to have a live show called The Jim Rose Circus. I call him Captain Jim. He's a sweet guy & BeBe is a sweetface too :) style grabbed from Woytek Thomas.
