Prompt: Many people lose their minds. They lose themselves over some crazy ass religion trying to feel better with themselves, but usually that religion is just a reflection of the inner chaos they are going through. The answer it’s simple and easy: all you need is Love.
Prompt: WE REALLY NEED LOVE. We say to ourselves and others that we don’t, because we’re afraid of being hurt. Of holding on to an empty illusion. Because we really REALLY need the warmth of that special someone in the middle of the night. We think that to acknowledge it implies showing weakness. But We need Love. And it’s okay to feel weak about it. Love your weakness. Love your need for Love. Pour all your Love on it and see how you feel better. After all, to Love that special someone we must first Love everything about ourselves.
Prompt: Last entry I said that I was becoming my best project. But I wasn’t sure why I wrote that or why I even wanted to be my best project. Now I know. To be your best project is to love yourself. Think. Many times they would tell us that to love ourselves is to accept ourselves. That’s bullshit. In the name of self love, we accept those things about ourselves THAT WE CANNOT CHANGE. We let it go and move on. We accept the things we can’t change. But there are MANY things we CAN change. And those things are our playground. It’s up for to do however we may wish with them. Even if they take time and effort.
Prompt: I used to feel frustration at seeing my father so defeated. But now, I just felt sorrow. Because it’s up to him to dig himself out of that hole. And he won’t. Because he’s a defeated man. And he’s been defeated ever since, dare I say, he started dating my mom. Because even though they stood by each other, I don’t feel they ever truly loved each other. They were hoping to find in the other the love that they first had to find within themselves.
