Prompt: Yes, I would like you to love yourself, because unless you love yourself you cannot love anybody else. You don't know what love is if you have not loved yourself. But before you can love yourself you have to know yourself; hence love is secondary, meditation is primary.
And the miracle is, if you meditate and slowly, slowly get out of the ego and out of your personality and realize your real self, love will come on its own. You don't have to do anything, it is a spontaneous flowering. But it blossoms only in a certain climate, and that climate I call meditation. In the climate of silence – no-mind, no disturbance inside, absolute clarity, peace and silence – suddenly, you will see thousands of flowers have opened within you, and their fragrance is love.
Prompt: For in the rhyme
within Hyena
Lies a hymn
within his laughter
Waiter there's a math equation in my soup
And a coyness
in the Coyote
who lurks
Circling every coroner, squared
Rounding every trick, stirred
And why might these ellipses sigh
From Calliope Music piped into the night?
My Muse gets sick
when this limerick shtick
is cooed
from on high:
There once was a man from...
oh
Fuck it
MuSe ickness
and health
oh
Well
Hears tune wishing...
The Internet is doomed to
an existential burden
Quelling the outsourced curiosity
of an entire species
Digitizing the consciousness of
Olive
Us, once dead
Branching out through the
all seizing eye
a black hole floats within
a nebulous lie
Prompt: some Things, knot Rites
The Internet is due
for an existential crisis
when google duly cries to you
"Something's Not Right..."
So I click on the ellipsis
and a pregnant pause is followed
by a lovely Error Message
made from odd icons and words
Copy/paste
to goog translate
From Image to Haiku,
it reads:
Pixel ate the pause
Waterfall of ellipses
Steep spiral staircase
Gee, gmail
eYe can now sea the gale
billowing your winned Sales
pillaging your signed sine waves
For the wind forms within
the storms of sin
of questions asked, scorned again
by your mask
A forced kin
Once
removed

It's

It's

Prompt: Kick Off Yer Pajamas
There was actually one time when I was possessed for a year
So you were drinking Budweisers all through the night
I drank Gin Beams
That was like another shipment for your monsters
Laughing at my petrified parts
They pick off their pricks and they throw them like darts
Help, my ribcage has been opened
And this cut has been analytically designed
A great offer to fly your ears to a place
Where they will hear
Pure sounds
Give the kNot to the spiderface
And Sirens will answer the chirps of the Frogs
We all knew he had it coming, anyway
Well at least it wasn’t the frog who croaked
At least the mop didn’t kick the bucket
To pay my respects I kicked a field goal
To that old procession in the sky
Christ The Lord raised his hands: “It’s Good!”
Just then, Saint Peter blew the whistle
Whistleblowers are not whistling
They’re only blowing
A blow job doesn’t really involve a whole lot of blowing
A snow job doesn’t fall after a heavy snowing
If your child turns from gray to yellow while suffering from asthma
He may be a cop
If he fails to shed her skin every seven weeks
Change her plasma
If she circles three times like a lying dog
Give him a diorama
Of mud and sticks
And monks, for kicks
And kick off your pajamas!
And get up out of bed
To smack the smile off the face of yet another beautiful blue morning sky
I want an apple of that bite
At licking I deliver the spite
Of the decade now ending
Adjacent to many new kinds of spanking mental patients

Prompt: If you have been following along as we make our trek to Cincinnati you know that around April 5th Jeff's shin splints forced him to take 4 days off of walking or running. I took over but just wasn't able to get that mileage in that he is capable of. We had to adjust our daily mileage needed to almost 33 miles a day (up from the original 28) to make it to Cinci in time for my 5K on May 4th. Jeff has been busting ass ever since to make up that deficit. With today's mileage he is at 29.5 miles a day to make it on time! He has been doing at least 33 miles a day for some time. I'm so danged proud of him!!!

Prompt: Recently, my Dad made plans to come visit me here in Raton. It's exciting news, as it's been 10 years since his last visit... And that's when I was still living in The Adobe Abode outside of Maxwell and ZIA Youth was still more than three years away from even being an idea. Now he'll get to see the city and the home where I've spent the past six-plus years.
My excitement for his visit has gone through the roof since yesterday, though, when I learned that my favorite Uncle, Paul (my Dad's youngest brother) will be flying out to Southern California from the Boston area to accompany my Dad on his road trip to Raton. Perhaps I can talk them into dropping in on the KRTN studios one morning to speak to Billy D. and the This, That, & The Other crew.
Mostly, I can't wait for them to see the new location of ZIA Youth, which is the proudest accomplishment of my life so far.
