Prompt: Fourteen degrees, peeing outside
If the dogs can do it then so can eYe
Melting the snow, melting the ice
I won't let death's eYe sickles spoil my vibe
Prompt: A plastic Shark Chalice brimming with blood
The glove compartment lays open
upon my lap, panting
Russian science friction
into the damp heaviness.
Beyond the Elysian fields
Now we revolve,
Sipping
Gin 'n eggs
And improvising
high
coups.
Mirror grotesques
and iron railings
Ordered forcefully from the depths of dizzy Disney
We'll return to the Mississippi
Where the full

Moon
- with cloud-shrouded mystery -
Shall command
of us:
Look at Me! See!
Through technicolored 'splosions
Swirling
war-story glories
Beneath the stars
Above bumbling barges
Behold me! Be reborn!
A child howls:
"This is the best Fourth of July ever!"
Above the brass whoops,
Vibrating animal hides, and
Frightened car alarms,
Shadow of the hornless beast
Babble on,
Bobble-Head
Corpus Christi
Pez dispenser
Mary hath casteth thee
from Flowering Hands,
mellifluously
A malevolent miracle
Beneath the flood lights
Beaming upon
another Holy
facade.
Of desperate-for-love

Prompt: Some people like karaoke. Many of these people have their Go To karaoke song. If you know me, it's no secret that I'm a weirdo. Not just a little bit. I'm like, mentally ill. Big time.
My Go To karaoke song, back in the day, was this one. It's about the most earnest and awkward rock song I can think of from my teenaged years. Because it was so earnest and awkward, I (for some reason I can't remember) came up with the idea to make my Go To karaoke song THIS SONG but sung in the voice of Party Band Singer of the B52's FRED FUCKING SCHNEIDER.
Hopefully, one day, Raton will have the pleasure of hearing me sing Live's "Lightning Crashes" in the voice of Fred Schneider of the B52's.
Imagine the first lines, as a B52's PARTY SONG:
"Lightning Crashes! And a young mother DIES! Her placenta! Falls to the floor!"
That was an actual lyric to a POPULAR HIT of the mid-90s. Were the 90s more strange than we remember?

Squeegee bums cleaning Ouija boards
Good god Google
these dying lords
dam e-fjords
cut these chords
Good god Google
bearded white man in the sky
Qualitative nipple ring
Ringing the bar belles
Tattooing zoo critters
Snort an instant gram of twitters
mice pace
Suicide gulls
Jesus Livingston Seagull
new hemisphere
swum in their ocean
knelt with devotion
breathed in their air
cuts the wood for its own casket
Orbs wreathed in despair
Tattooing zoo critters
Snort an instant gram of twitters
mice pace
Move aside, boys
There is nothing to see/hear
There is nothing to be here
'cept maybe to be queer
Do you not see the blemish here?
Are we in separate hemispheres?
Divided by oceans
choking on honed devotions
or breathing their air
It puts the lotion in the basket
Carts the wood for its own casket
Port of call in despair
Prompt: Good god Google
We've implored
of all these dying lords
quit damming e-fjords
It's time we cut these chords

but it was voices in the telephone wires
I have no telephone
I've been abandoned by the satellites
lovelorn poems and songs
Water dope and booze
I thought I felt a vacuum sealed jar
open in my mind
and now I perceive time
flowing from me
