Prompt: He calls the mansion, not a house, but a tomb
He's always choking from the stench and the fume
The wedding party all collapsed in the room
So send my resignation to the bride and the groom
Let's go down!
This elevator only goes up to ten
He's not around, he's always looking at men
Down by the pool, he doesn't have many friends, as they are
Face down and bloated, snap a shot with the lens
If you marry me
Would you bury me?
Would you carry me to the end?
to the vows you take
(And say goodbye) to the life you make
(And say goodbye) to the heart you break
And all the cyanide you drank
She keeps a picture of the body she lends
Got nasty blisters from the money she spends
She's got a life of her own and it shows by the Benz
She drives at 90 by the Barbie's and Ken's
If you ever say never, too late
I'll forget all the diamonds you ate
Lost in coma and covered in cake
Increase the medication
Share the vows at the wake (kiss the bride)
If you marry me
Would you bury me?
Would you carry me to the end?
to the vows you take
(And say goodbye) to the life you make
(And say goodbye) to the heart you break
And all the cyanide you drank
to the last parade
(And walk away) from the choice you made
(And say goodnight) to the hearts you break
And all the cyanide you drank
to the vows you take
(And say goodbye) to the life you make
(And say goodbye) to the heart you break
And all the cyanide you drank
to the last parade
(And walk away) from the choice you made
(And say goodnight) to the hearts you break
And all the cyanide you drank
To the last parade
As the parties fade
And the choice you made (to the end)
Prompt: It's hard to wake up
When the shades have been pulled shut
This house is haunted
It's so pathetic, it makes no sense at all
I'm ripe with things to say
The words rot and fall away
What stupid poem, could fix this home?
I'd read it every day
Prompt: My coworker and I were at a job an hour ago. A hot water line blew apart, showering us, and burning his arm a bit. He was able to plug the geyser while I tried to mitigate the water. We then cleaned up the water. While cleaning, he kept getting electrocuted, but we could not figure out how. It turned out that they dryer got a short somewhere and the entire chassis became electrified. So far, it has not been an "awesome" Monday, but it is interesting.
Prompt: The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went in to the daughters of humans, who bore children to them. These were the heroes that were of old, warriors of renown.
We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.
God presides in the great assembly; he renders judgment among the “gods”: “How long will you defend the unjust and show partiality to the wicked? Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked. “The ‘gods’ know nothing, they understand nothing. They walk about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken. “I said, ‘You are “gods”; you are all sons of the Most High.’ But you will die like mere mortals; you will fall like every other ruler.” Rise up, O God, judge the earth, for all the nations are your inheritance.
Prompt: What does it mean to lose control? Doesn't that imply that we are normally trying to control something that acts independently of our will? When control is lost, what is in steering the ship?

Prompt: Digging in your past for lost secrets. Do you expect to find treasures? Is that what you think you would have buried and hidden? Is it not more likely that suffering is what you buried to try and escape? Keep digging. When you unearth a nightmare, remember the effort you put into seeking it.
Prompt: I'm caught in the Catch-22 of OCD today. This is what I refer to it as. I cannot be reassured because no one can PROVE to me that the contamination is not real. I know that it is irrational, but I cannot get confirmation. Well, seeking reassurance seeking will incorporate those I ask into my compulsions. So I have to resist reassurance as there is no relief there... So then I face the irrational... And my brain trips out on the cognitive dissonance... While I wait for the ERP to work. Eventually, my stress should get so high that my brain shuts it off.
Prompt: In physics, tension can represent potential energy to be released. In a human, tension can represent potential energy to be released, or exhaustion of all energy.
Prompt: Catharsis: "the process of releasing, and thereby providing relief from, strong or repressed emotions." Many of the ideas that I submit to this prompt is done for that reason. I struggle with the thought. Articulate it as best I can. Then, I evaluate the results. Often, it seems to bring me some peace, or at least lets me move on.
Prompt: So make yourself an ark of cypress wood; make rooms in it and coat it with pitch inside and out. This is how you are to build it: The ark is to be three hundred cubits long, fifty cubits wide and thirty cubits high. Make a roof for it, leaving below the roof an opening one cubit high all around. Put a door in the side of the ark and make lower, middle and upper decks. I am going to bring floodwaters on the earth to destroy all life under the heavens, every creature that has the breath of life in it. Everything on earth will perish. But I will establish my covenant with you, and you will enter the ark—you and your sons and your wife and your sons’ wives with you. You are to bring into the ark two of all living creatures, male and female, to keep them alive with you. Two of every kind of bird, of every kind of animal and of every kind of creature that moves along the ground will come to you to be kept alive. You are to take every kind of food that is to be eaten and store it away as food for you and for them.”
Prompt: I've always been unsure on predeterminism. However, I'm not sure how retrocausality would fit or not fit into any other understanding. I guess to me, it seems entirely independent as a possibly that exists within any other universal framework. How it would be explained or understood may change with larger views, but the occurrence just is something that happens. While I love the idea of retrocausality, I am not current aware of another example outside of the double slit experiment that would validate it. Generally, it seems retrocausality is dismissed for this reason. The argument being that the properties collapse as a result of the observance. The observance being a catalyst, for some reason. To me, that explanation doesn't sound any more rational or provable, so I don't yet understand why it is the dominant theory.
Prompt: When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, “Come!” Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make people kill each other. To him was given a large sword.

Prompt: When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come!” I looked, and there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, “Two pounds of wheat for a day’s wages, and six pounds of barley for a day’s wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!”

Prompt: When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, “Come!” I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.
Prompt: I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. The heavens receded like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.

Prompt: I'm finding my mind drifting towards predeterminism lately. Which is odd as it is not something I have generally given credence to. I'm not sure why, considering recent things I've read and studied are quite contrary. None the less, I find myself introspectively judging my actions and wondering how much I am in control of any of them. Am I working hard because I possess some work ethic others do not? Or am I overcoming barricades that all of us face? OR, is it more likely I'm a worker ant who is incapable of behaving differently. I suppose it's not a far cry from my fixation on deontology. Am I behaving morally well by working hard? Am I behaving morally well based on the outcomes? Or am I just doing what I must do like a robot? Obviously, I don't get to know the answer. Lately, it is plaguing my day dreaming.
Prompt: The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge mountain, all ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea turned into blood, a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.

Prompt: The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water— the name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter.
