Prompt: World of illusions and hallucinations
In the unstable world of the surrealists, anything can be imagined. All objects are illusory: they shine through, overlap each other and look more like hallucinations. Magritte and Dali especially love this technique.
Prompt: Surrealists were interested in phobias and traumatic images, but not from the point of view of psychoanalysis. Artists do not aim to cure us of our fears. They only open to us a casket of fantasies, from which disgusting insects, half-humans, half-fishes, monstrous birds, a multitude of ridiculous, funny and strange chimeras, combining the human with the inhuman, jump out. Even a living body can connect with an object: the table is suddenly overgrown with arms and legs, a cat's muzzle shines through the human face. Everything is transformed: the surreal world is fluid and elusive.
