Prompt: Dear God, I pray to you with a clear
mind and an awake soul.
Give me the will and strength to
endure the passage of each day.
Help me create a purpose for the time
left to finish this journey.
Alert me to all negative temptations
that can bring suffering to my being.
Provide me with an open heart and
love towards everything that lives.
Give me the clarity of mind to evaluate
wisely each decision I have to make.
Let me feel at each sunrise that your
light is shinning through me.
And at each sunset the night stillness
will calm my spirit with your wisdom.
My current life is so empty, being
alone disturbs the mind, this lack of human presence in my home and
around me is so difficult to bear.
Watch over and protect the few
people remaining in my life that care
and ask about me.
Help me derive divine strength and
insight from the time I spend in
stillness and meditation.
