Prompt: a round diamond, Each facet of this diamond tells a story, a fragmented narrative woven through time and space.
Gazing into its depths, one would behold snippets of the varied lives of a woman, forever frozen in her prime, perpetually twenty years of age. With fiery red dreadlocks cascading down her back and fair skin kissed by the sun, she possesses an otherworldly beauty. Yet, what truly captivates the observer are her eyes—heterochromatic marvels, one a vibrant green, the other a peculiar diamond white, reminiscent of the very gem they are contained within.
In each facet, a different life unfolds, defying the constraints of linear time and logic. One may see her as the daughter of a humble blacksmith, her hands calloused from toiling over the forge, yet her spirit aflame with dreams of adventure. In another, she is the cherished ward of a noble family, educated in the arts of diplomacy and strategy, her eyes harboring secrets unknown to her aristocratic kin.
There are facets where she is a fierce warrior, brandishing a sword against the encroaching darkness, her battle cries echoing through the ages. In others, she is a wise sage, dispensing cryptic prophecies and ancient wisdom to those who seek her guidance. Sometimes, she is a pirate queen, commanding a ship with unrivaled daring, her laughter mingling with the salty sea breeze.
Yet, amidst the myriad roles she assumes, there is a common thread—a longing in her eyes, a yearning for something just beyond her grasp. Loved ones come and go, their faces shifting like shadows in the flickering candlelight. Parents change, lovers fade into memory, friends appear and vanish like phantoms.
