  • Prompt: Modern Fairytale Retellings, Sleeping Beauty's Revenge: a lush, decadent storybook illustration rendered in a rich, tactile gouache and ink style, where the romanticism of a fairy tale collides with a gothic appetite. In a bedroom draped in suffocating layers of velvet curtains and overgrown, thorny black roses, Princess Aurora—now a pale, ethereal vampire—is draped across Prince Phillip in a pose of deceptive tenderness. Her skin is a translucent moonlight white, contrasting sharply with the deep crimson of her gown, which spills across the bed like a pool of blood. Her eyes are wide and glowing with a predatory amber hue, and her expression is one of blissful, hungry intoxication as her fangs are sunk deep into the pulsing vein of the Prince's neck. Phillip is caught in a state of hypnotic ecstasy, his eyes rolled back and his expression one of dazed surrender, his royal gold-braided tunic rumpled and undone. The lighting is moody and atmospheric, with flickering candlelight casting long, distorted shadows that dance across the ornate gold leaf of the bedframe, while tiny, shimmering dust motes and floating rose petals add a whimsical, dreamlike quality to the scene of elegant predation.
