Prompt: A bare, freshly tilled field of brown loam, not a single seed sown, no sprouts. In the centre stands a farmer in a faded linen shirt and straw hat. His left hand holds an empty, upside-down seed packet made of brown paper – nothing falls out. His right hand holds a hoe, raised half-heartedly into the air, as if he's not sure what to do with it. His face is slightly scrunched, a grumpy, mildly exasperated little smile. In the background a low, sparse hedge and a pale, overcast sky. Vintage Oil painting, thick impasto, visible spatula strokes in the loam and in the paper texture of the packet, matte earthy tones – ochre, sienna, muted green, no gloss, no drama. Style: 17th-century Dutch genre painting, slightly caricatural, warm daylight, no pathos, no text.
