Eerie Night in a Cloaked Forest Scene

• Model: FluX (Base) Krea

  • Prompt: Cubistic patchwork. The witch awoke beneath a canopy of black pine, her breath fogging in the cold air. Her name was gone. Her past, a blank page. Only the ache in her bones and the scent of ash on her skin remained. She wandered the edge of the forest for days, drawn to the trees but unable to cross their threshold. Something pulsed in the darkness—an ancient rhythm that tugged at her ribs like a forgotten lullaby. It wasn’t until the third night, when the stars blinked in strange constellations and the moon turned a shade too blue, that she stepped into the woods. The trees whispered her arrival. Each step deeper into the forest thickened the air. Shadows curled around her ankles. The wind carried voices she didn’t recognize but somehow understood. They spoke of a name burned from memory, of a power sealed away, of a betrayal written in starlight. She was afraid. Not of the dark, but of what waited in it. Her hands trembled when she reached for the moss-covered stones, when she traced the sigils carved into bark. Her heart pounded with a fear that had no source—only the certainty that something once terrible had happened here. Then she saw it. A clearing, lit not by moonlight but by a swirling rift in the sky. A cosmic eye, vast and watching. Beneath it stood a figure cloaked in shadow, its face a mirror of her own. “You came back,” it said. She didn’t answer. Her voice was still lost in the fog of forgetting. The figure stepped closer. “You sealed your memory to escape what you became. But the stars never forget.” The witch fell to her knees. The presence pressed against her mind, not cruel, but immense—like the weight of a thousand lifetimes. Images flooded her: fire raining from her hands, a tower crumbling, a circle of witches turning away. She had been powerful. She had been feared. She had been alone. And now, she was awakening. The fear didn’t leave her. But it no longer ruled her. She stood. The stars above shimmered in recognition.
