Prompt: Basilisk is primary hostile creature, low and offset to one front side of oncoming horse. It must read as basilisk, not dragon or ordinary snake: reptilian body, scaled hide, clawed forelimbs, low-slung mass, and lifted crested head with blazing eyes fixed on target. Two continuous petrifying beams emerge directly from both glowing eyes, each beam visibly beginning at its own eye, and converge on single strike point on horse’s near-side upper chest at front of torso, below base of neck and clearly behind head.
Charging warhorse is the central moving mass. It must read as large armored warhorse in full forward surge: neck thrust out, chest driving ahead, forelegs striking ground, hindquarters still pushing hard. Petrifaction seizes chest and both forelegs. Front anatomy from upper chest through forelegs is rigid gray stone with mineral texture, while abdomen rearward of transformation line, hindquarters, tail, and rear legs remain living flesh, hair, and tack. Boundary between stone front and living rear stays sharp.
Basilisk gaze strikes chest and forelegs first, turning those parts instantly to stone. Petrified front end arrests at ground contact while living rear momentum continues forward and upward. Stone forelegs stay planted against dirt road; living hindquarters kick up as rear legs still drive, pitching horse violently over arrested forequarters. Horse is not merely freezing in place: rear mass still moves, lifts, and folds over stopped front. Hard hoof scrape at stop point reinforces abrupt arrest.
Armored rider is secondary subject and must be tied to the same upset. Rider is thrown forward when horse’s forequarters stop dead and body pitches nose-down with rear half kicking upward behind. Rider must be pitched forward rather than launched straight upward: head, chest, and outstretched hands drive forward and downward ahead of hips; hips follow; legs trail behind and slightly upward as sudden stop whips body over arrested front end. Keep rider close above horse in low forward tumble. Rider wears practical war armor and reads as involuntarily launched, not posing or jumping by choice.
Use three-quarter side view that keeps both basilisk eyes visible, both eye-rooted beams, their convergence point, transformation boundary, stopped stone forequarters, lifted living hindquarters, and thrown rider readable in one frame. Place horse center midground as dominant form, basilisk offset with clear sightline, and rider pitched forward just above and ahead of neck, not arcing high. Preserve open space around rider and lifted rear half. Keep stop point visible beneath struck forelegs and avoid dust, rocks, or debris that hide petrification seam, stone ground contact, or rider silhouette.
Environment should support fantasy charge: ruined road open enough to show motion and arrest. Lighting must be clearly exposed daylight, not dark scene lit mainly by magical glow. Broad ambient light reveals basilisk anatomy, armor, tack, stone front half, living rear musculature, and rider silhouette. Gaze can burn with eerie light, but exposure stays open and natural. Materials must separate clearly. Overall rendering is digital illustration in fantasy action realism.
