Mixing Palette Knife (background and lighting contrasts), Impasto (clothing and hair), Pastel (face, shadows, emotion). In the foreground, a young girl sits on a bench at a tram stop. Her hair is messy, dyed in shades of violet and blue, and she’s wearing a short black tulle skirt, fishnet tights, and an oversized jacket covered in patches and pins—a mix between punk rock and modern artistic expression. On one foot she has a sneaker, on the other a combat boot—as if she hasn’t quite decided who she wants to be. Resting in her lap is a sketchbook, and she’s quietly drawing the passersby with a soft pastel pencil. Her fingers are smudged with chalk and charcoal. In the middle ground, an older woman watches the girl with a mix of wonder and confusion, while beside them a tram passes, its window reflections shimmering across the pavement, captured with Mixing Palette Knife strokes that add motion and tension. In the background, gray buildings fade beneath a pink-blue sunset sky, the light spilling like a pastel haze—warm tones blending with cold, while the wind plays with paper scraps and the hem of the girl’s skirt. The whole scene breathes in the rhythm of the city—soft, but relentless.
