Obsidian Mantis Nightmare

• Model: ChatGPT 2 (Pro)

• Size: 2560 X 1440 (3.69 MP)

• Used settings:

  • Prompt: a colossal, primordial praying mantis of legendary proportions, its chitinous exoskeleton forged from iridescent obsidian and vein-like fissures of pulsing violet energy, looming over the ruins of a gothic, subterranean metropolis. The creature is not merely an insect, but a biomechanical nightmare; its primary scythes are jagged, translucent blades of living quartz that crackle with static electricity, dripping with a caustic, neon-green ichor that melts the cobblestones beneath it. Its compound eyes are swirling nebulae of gold and crimson, reflecting a world plunged into eternal eclipse, while six auxiliary, spindly limbs anchor it to the crumbling spires of a dead civilization. The atmosphere is a suffocating shroud of charcoal fog and floating ash, illuminated only by the creature’s internal bioluminescence and the dying embers of a shattered moon hanging precariously in the smog-choked sky, creating a sense of overwhelming scale and cosmic dread.

Enlightenment Through Cosmic Vision Art

• Model: Nano Banana 2 (Pro)

• Size: 2560 X 1440 (3.69 MP)

• Used settings:

  • Prompt: A highly detailed, psychedelic, symmetrical composition of a complex insectoid and organic entity, centered on a black background. The main subject features a central, multi-eyed, insectoid or mantis-like head at the top, adorned with a glowing Eye of Providence within a triangle, flanked by outstretched raptorial claws and mechanical wings. Below this, intricate, insect-like legs extend outwards, covered in geometric patterns and small, embedded eyes. Spherical elements resembling planets or orbs are integrated throughout the design, some showing grid patterns. The lower half of the composition is dominated by a large, ornate spider, with a glowing, intricate sphere resting on its forehead, from which a double helix-like structure ascends. The spider's jaw is open, revealing multiple rows of teeth, and it is framed by more insect elements and mechanical structures. At the very bottom, a small, meditating figure, resembling a child insect-like alien, sits amidst swirling, cloud-like formations. The overall color palette is dominated by bold deep greens, purples, and teals, with warm accents of glowing oranges and yellows, particularly around the central Eye of Providence, the sphere on the spider, and the meditating figure. The lighting is dramatic and chiaroscuro, with strong contrasts between illuminated areas and deep shadows, creating a sense of depth and three-dimensionality. There's a subtle glow emanating from various parts of the design, highlighting the intricate details. The style is a blend of biomechanical art, sacred geometry, visionary art, and psychedelic illustration, reminiscent of artists like H.R. Giger meets Alex Grey. Each element is meticulously rendered with fine lines, cross-hatching, and subtle gradients, giving it a metallic or carved appearance. The mood is mysterious, spiritual, otherworldly, and a bit unsettling, conveying themes of consciousness, creation, and ancient knowledge. The black background emphasizes the vibrant details and glowing elements. Intricate patterns, including triangles, circles, and grid-like textures, adorn many surfaces.
