  • Prompt: Create a painterly, printable graphic tee shirt design based on the California Republic flag, keeping the overall composition, color scheme, and iconic layout as faithful to the original as possible. Replace the bear with a stylized Newfie Doodle that matches the stance, attitude, and facial energy of the original bear, while looking robust, intimidating, and slightly whimsical. The dog should have a striking black-and-white Landseer coat, of silky, long, fluffy, wavy fur, with a dark gray and black face, neck, and back; black patches around the eyes; a black nose; long fluffy black fur on top of the head forming a pompadour, and long wavy black fur on large drooping ears; a wide white band around the neck; a mostly black body with a white chest and belly; white upper legs; white lower legs with black ermine spots; and a fluffy black-and-white tail with a white tip. The expression should be fierce, with large brown eyes, a few visible teeth, and the tip of a pink tongue showing. Remove any collar, leash, harness, and background from the dog reference so the dog integrates cleanly into the flag design. The style of the design should be painterly rather than photorealistic to similate the graphic style of the original bear emblem on the flag. Preserve the original California Republic flag elements, including the red star, the green grassy ground beneath the animal, the red base bar, and the black uppercase text “CALIFORNIA REPUBLIC” in a font closely matching the original, such as Poppins or a similar clean sans serif. Add “NEWFIE DOODLE” in white within the red bar at the base of the flag, using a retro whimsical font such as Barbra, Blueberry, Dynapuff, Genty, Irene Florentina, or a close alternative. The finished design should have a slightly worn, distressed, retro-art look suitable for screen printing on a tee shirt, with bold shapes, strong contrast, and print-friendly detail.
