  • Prompt: Use the uploaded original pen drawing as a strict and unchangeable structural blueprint. Preserve accurate portrait orientation, composition, cropping, perspective, proportions, recognizable faces and figures, silhouettes, curved and angular shapes, overlaps, interior details, spatial relationships, and intentionally empty areas. Do not redesign, simplify, add, remove, mirror, or rearrange anything. Transform the entire drawing into a highly detailed, physically plausible, layered paper sculpture made from hundreds of individually precision-cut sheets of heavy art paper stacked one behind the other at small but visible intervals. The original pen drawing scheme should define the true three-dimensional construction. Line density directly controls sculptural depth: Sparse, faint lines become shallow, open, and widely spaced layers of paper. Medium-density hatching gradually becomes deeper stepped planes. Dense hatching and cross-hatching become deep, recessed cavities made up of many closely spaced, narrow paper ridges. Darker areas should have more layers and greater depth, rather than simply being painted black. Transform the strongest contours into continuous, paper-cut edges that run through successive layers. Transform long, flowing lines into curved, overlapping paper contours. Transform fine parallel hatching into a series of extremely thin paper ridges that align precisely with the direction of the original pen strokes. Transform cross-hatching into fine, interwoven layers at varying depths. Preserve intricate facial features, hands, and small textures with miniature, precision-cut paper elements. Subtle gray and sepia pen marks may be visible on the outermost paper surfaces to preserve the hand-drawn character of the original drawing, but the image should not be printed on plain paper alone. All important lines should also have an impact on the cut edge, paper spine, ply spacing, surface height, or depth of indentation. Use a restrained, harmonious material palette dominated by natural white, warm ivory, pale parchment, and soft stone gray paper. Showcase selected inner layers in soft turquoise, muted grass green, oxidized copper, and warm bronze brown. These colors should appear mainly along the exposed cut edges and in the deeper cavities, never as large, flat painted patches. Keep the outer surfaces predominantly ivory and paper white. Build significant physical depth, about 3-5 inches. Foreground forms extend forward through many layers, secondary forms occupy the middle depths, and recesses visibly descend through dozens of stacked sheets. Preserve original overlaps and spatial order. Showcase the authentic qualities of the paper: visible sheet thickness, sharp cut edges, fine natural fibers, subtle hand-made irregularities, slightly softened corners, and subtle shadows between adjacent layers. Individual sheets should remain visible, especially along curved edges and in deep openings. The finished vertical artwork should be presented as a unique contemporary paper sculpture, mounted on a neutral, warm gray museum wall. Photograph almost head-on, slightly tilted to the lower left, revealing the stacked layers without altering the original composition. The soft, raking gallery light from the upper left creates subtle self-shadows and clearly reveals the varying depths. It is highly detailed, tactile, elegant, physically possible and sharply focused. The source drawing should remain instantly recognizable.
