Prompt: A highly detailed Byzantine mosaic portrait of Constantine VII Porphyrogenitus, depicted in a subtly modern selfie-like composition inside a grand imperial church. The image is entirely constructed from small, irregular tesserae made of gold, stone, and glass, with visible texture, uneven edges, and natural variation, replicating authentic Byzantine mosaic craftsmanship.
The emperor has a refined, expressive face with neatly groomed dark hair and a short, well-kept beard. His features are noble, intelligent, and distinct, avoiding repetition from other figures. He wears an elaborate golden crown decorated with gemstones and a richly adorned purple imperial robe covered in intricate gold patterns and miniature icon-like medallions.
The composition suggests a handheld selfie perspective without showing any hands, fingers, or modern devices: a slight wide-angle feel, subtle asymmetry, off-center framing, and one shoulder slightly closer to the viewer. No gestures.
Behind him is a magnificent Byzantine church interior: arched architecture, glowing candlelight, and a large golden mosaic of Christ with a halo in the apse. Additional figures (courtiers or guards) appear symmetrically in the background, fully integrated into the mosaic.
Lighting is warm, luminous, and golden, reflecting softly off the tesserae, creating a sacred and imperial atmosphere. The gold background subtly shimmers but remains textured and realistic, not glossy.
Color palette: rich golds, deep purples, warm reds, and muted stone tones.
No modern objects, no jewelry in ears, no earrings, historically accurate imperial appearance. Avoid hyper-realistic photography look — maintain a handcrafted, ancient mosaic aesthetic while preserving clear facial readability.
Ultra-detailed, tactile surface, museum-quality, balanced fusion of Byzantine art and subtle modern selfie composition.
