  • Prompt: Create a 4:3 realistic painterly fantasy storybook illustration for The Morks of Mistmoor – Chapter 36, Part 2: The Mistmoor That Never Was. REFERENCE IMAGES — use exactly these four references: 1. CR-M1 – Morksik 2. CR-M17 – Eldren 3. CR-M4 – Hopsy 4. CR-M2 – Borstel Preserve the exact established appearance, clothing, equipment and proportions of all four characters as shown in their reference images. The reference images are authoritative for character details. Show EXACTLY four characters: Morksik, Eldren, Hopsy and Borstel. No duplicates and no additional people. Scene: the four travellers have just entered THE MISTMOOR THAT NEVER EXISTED, an alternate version of their village that feels familiar but subtly impossible. They stand together in a deserted village square beneath a pale, colourless grey sky. The architecture resembles old Mistmoor, but important details are wrong. The abandoned wooden house stands unnaturally in the CENTRE of the village square and should be the main destination ahead of the group. It has two floors but SEVEN visible windows. Each window reflects a subtly different sky. Behind and to one side rises the old CLOCK TOWER, but its entire roof is missing. A large bronze bell hangs impossibly in empty air above the open top of the tower with no visible support. Where the clock face should be is a mysterious silver circular dial with a single hand pointing backward. Farther beyond the village buildings, clearly separated from the square, the ANCIENT WELL can be seen standing OUTSIDE the village where it does not belong. The streets follow slightly unnatural directions, bending around houses incorrectly. There are no villagers, no footprints, no carts and no normal activity. The village feels recently abandoned rather than ruined. Morksik stands slightly forward, studying the strange central house. He holds the incomplete silver eye-shaped key. Eldren stands beside him holding his established old map open. On the map, a small silver point glows at the location of the abandoned house. Hopsy holds her lantern high. Preserve her established kangaroo pouch and all characteristic travelling objects exactly according to CR-M4. Borstel stands nearby with all equipment exactly as established in CR-M2, looking suspiciously around the impossible village. Behind the group, a faint freestanding stone arch filled with fading silver light marks the route by which they entered. It is already becoming transparent, suggesting that their way back is disappearing. Atmosphere: uncanny and mysterious but NOT horror. The village should look like a real place that somehow followed the wrong version of history. Use cold grey-blue ambient light with Hopsy’s warm lantern providing the main warm contrast. Subtle mist between the crooked timber-framed houses, wet old cobblestones, cinematic depth, soft volumetric light, detailed realistic textures. Realistic painterly fantasy storybook style consistent with the established Morks series. No written text, captions, labels or readable signs anywhere. Add only the established small white unicorn emblem with “AI by Unicorngraphics” discreetly in the bottom-right corner.
