Prompt: Create a watercolour masterpiece from the following:-
Old Death has a hobby, a bit of a vice,
He doesn’t just reap, he likes to be nice.
But his "nice" is a terror, a chaotic blend,
A prankster who follows you right to the end.
He doesn't wear robes of a somber, dark hue,
He’s sporting a leisure suit, neon and blue.
He arrives with a clipboard and a smug little grin,
Then asks if you've noticed how thin your hair's been.
He’ll wait 'til you're balanced on one shaky leg,
Or just as you're poaching your favorite egg.
He doesn't want souls for a kingdom of gloom,
He just wants to see if you've tidied your room.
"I'm not here for duty!" he’ll laugh with a wheeze,
While knocking your glasses right down to your knees.
He’ll steal your left slipper, he’ll hide your front key,
Then whisper, "Your heartbeat is rhythmic as tea!"
He’s immoral and lazy, he cheats at the game,
He’s renamed the Afterlife "Nap-time for Shame."
He takes a long lunch when the plague is in town,
Then returns with a balloon and a bright party crown.
He’ll tell you a joke while he’s checking your pulse,
(His timing is wretched, his logic is false).
"Why the long face?" he'll ask as he pulls out the plug,
Then gives your cold shoulder a friendly little hug.
So don't fear the scythe or the bone-white design,
Fear the entity who thinks your bad fashion is fine.
For Death isn't solemn, nor ghostly, nor bleak,
He's just a mean jerk who's been stalking you a week.
