Prompt: SCENE: Two ghosts waltzing in a moonlit autumn clearing. They are translucent, veil-like figures made of layered gauze and drifting muslin, with no faces beyond the suggestion of a tilted head and a lifted hand. Their bodies merge and separate in one slow, tender turn. Emotion: bittersweet tenderness, quiet longing, dignified and restrained, not cute, not cartoonish, not kitsch.
TECHNIQUE: Museum-quality mixed media painting on heavy canvas. Thick sculptural impasto applied with a palette knife, with deep ridges catching the light. Bold, clearly visible bristle-brush strokes in the sky and ground. Thin oil glazes over the impasto in the ghosts' figures to give inner luminosity.
COLLAGE ELEMENTS: Torn fragments of handmade paper, tea-stained tissue, thin gold leaf flakes, pressed autumn leaves, and scraps of aged blank paper glued into the surface. They overlap the painted areas and break the picture plane. All paper is blank and unprinted.
COLOR PALETTE: Cool silver-blue moonlight (ultramarine, cobalt violet, titanium white) against warm autumn fire (cadmium orange, burnt sienna, Naples yellow, raw umber, deep madder red). Vivid, saturated color, with the ghosts glowing in luminous pale blue-white against the warm ground.
LIGHT: A large full moon above, with a soft glowing halo. Moonlight rakes across the impasto ridges and creates real-looking relief shadows. Strong tonal contrast between the dark, warm surroundings and the glowing ghosts.
COMPOSITION: The dancing pair slightly off-center, swirling leaves spiraling around them. Postmodern layering: painterly and flat collage planes in tension, fragmented borders, unexpected juxtapositions of material. Depth through overlapping layers, not through photographic perspective.
STYLE REFERENCES: The material weight of Anselm Kiefer, the collage sensibility of Robert Rauschenberg, the floating dreamlike figures and moon of Marc Chagall, the gold-leaf ornament of Gustav Klimt, and the emotional color of Edvard Munch.
AVOID: text, letters, numbers, writing, signatures, watermarks, photographic look, HDR look, cinematic lens effects, 3D render, digital smoothness, cartoon or Halloween-style ghosts, sheet-like ghosts with eye holes.
