Paper Sculpture Sunset Bust

• Model: Z-Image Turbo

• Size: 1664 X 2224 (3.70 MP)

• Used settings:

  • Prompt: Create a translucent 3D object based on a scanned drawing, utilizing every single line of the original sketch to shape the surface and elements. In crafting the sculpture, meticulously translate every line of the drawing using 0.1 mm paper strips—rendered in ethereal tones, such as translucent rice paper—while employing diverse textures and unconventional paper-art techniques. Every pen stroke has a visible, physical counterpart on the surface formed by the paper edges. Contours transform into narrow, raised ribs or membrane-like edges; delicate strokes become slender micro-ribs. Parallel hatching evolves into distinct, thin sheets, preserving the original direction, curvature, length, spacing, density, and rhythm. Cross-hatching transforms into intersecting systems of sheets positioned at varying depths. Dense areas consist of fine sheets placed closely side-by-side. Place the sculpture in an outdoor setting bathed in soft, diffused morning light. Aim for a stunning visual presentation characterized by masterful handling of light and shadow, rich detail, and precise craftsmanship. The final result should possess a cinematic quality—free from plastic-like or mannequin-like characteristics. Use the deep colors of the sky as your palette—capturing the mysterious, translucent hues of every time of day and cardinal direction—complemented by surreal lighting effects, high resolution, and an ArtStation-caliber aesthetic.

Paper Art Portrait: Glowing Orb

• Model: Krea 2 Turbo

• Size: 1024 X 1024 (1.05 MP)

• Used settings:

  • Prompt: 3D relief technique with a young woman with open eyes and fulll body sculpture, recognizable faces and shapes, silhouettes, curved and angular forms, overlaps, internal details, spatial relationships, and intentionally empty areas. Transform the entire drawing into an extremely detailed 3D layered paper sculpture, made up of multiple sheets of artist paper, each precisely cut and stacked with small but visible distances between them. The original pen drawing scheme should indicate the true three-dimensional structure. The density of the lines directly guides the sculptural space: sparse, faint lines become shallow, open, and widely spaced paper layers. Medium-density line systems gradually turn into stepped planes. Dense lines form larger volumes composed of many layers. The dense shading and cross-hatching transform into recessed cavities, made up of many narrow strips of paper placed closely together. Darker areas should have multiple layers and greater depth, not just filled in with black. Convert the strongest contours into continuous, paper-cut 3D edges that run through successive layers. Turn long, flowing lines into curved, stacked thin paper outlines. The fine parallel shading should become a series of extremely thin paper strips that match the direction of the original pen strokes precisely. Transform the cross-hatching into delicate, interwoven layers with different depths. Preserve the intricate facial features, hands, and small textures with tiny, precisely cut paper elements. On the outer paper surfaces, fine gray and sepia pen marks may be visible to preserve the hand-drawn nature of the original illustration, but the image should not be printed on plain paper alone. Every important line should interact with the cut edge, the spine of the paper, the distance between layers, the surface height, or the depth of the indentation. Use a restrained, harmonious color palette dominated by natural white, warm ivory, light parchment, and soft stone gray paper. Present the selected inner layers in soft turquoise, muted willow green, oxidized copper, and warm bronze. These colors should mainly appear on the visible cut edges and deeper recesses, never as large, evenly painted areas. Keep the outer surfaces mostly in ivory and paper white colors. Build significant physical height, around 10-15 cm. The foreground shapes extend forward through many 3D layers, the secondary shapes occupy the mid-depth, and the recesses clearly move upward through multiple stacked layers. Preserve the original overlaps and spatial order. Show the true quality of the paper: visible sheet thickness, sharp cut edges, fine natural fibers, tiny handcrafted irregularities, slightly rounded corners, and subtle shadows between adjacent layers. Each sheet should still be visible, especially along folded edges and deep openings. The finished vertical piece should be presented as a unique contemporary paper sculpture, placed in front of a neutral, warm gray museum wall. Photograph it almost head-on, slightly tilted to the left, so the layered elements become visible without altering the original composition. Soft, angled gallery lighting coming from the upper left corner creates subtle shadows and clearly shows the different depths. Very detailed, tactile, elegant, physically possible, and sharply focused. The original drawing should remain instantly recognizable.

Layered Paper Sculpture: from my own pen drawing

• Model: Z-Image Turbo

• Size: 1264 X 1744 (2.20 MP)

• Used settings:

  • Prompt: Use the uploaded original pen drawing as a strict and unchangeable structural blueprint. Preserve accurate portrait orientation, composition, cropping, perspective, proportions, recognizable faces and figures, silhouettes, curved and angular shapes, overlaps, interior details, spatial relationships, and intentionally empty areas. Do not redesign, simplify, add, remove, mirror, or rearrange anything. Transform the entire drawing into a highly detailed, physically plausible, layered paper sculpture made from hundreds of individually precision-cut sheets of heavy art paper stacked one behind the other at small but visible intervals. The original pen drawing scheme should define the true three-dimensional construction. Line density directly controls sculptural depth: Sparse, faint lines become shallow, open, and widely spaced layers of paper. Medium-density hatching gradually becomes deeper stepped planes. Dense hatching and cross-hatching become deep, recessed cavities made up of many closely spaced, narrow paper ridges. Darker areas should have more layers and greater depth, rather than simply being painted black. Transform the strongest contours into continuous, paper-cut edges that run through successive layers. Transform long, flowing lines into curved, overlapping paper contours. Transform fine parallel hatching into a series of extremely thin paper ridges that align precisely with the direction of the original pen strokes. Transform cross-hatching into fine, interwoven layers at varying depths. Preserve intricate facial features, hands, and small textures with miniature, precision-cut paper elements. Subtle gray and sepia pen marks may be visible on the outermost paper surfaces to preserve the hand-drawn character of the original drawing, but the image should not be printed on plain paper alone. All important lines should also have an impact on the cut edge, paper spine, ply spacing, surface height, or depth of indentation. Use a restrained, harmonious material palette dominated by natural white, warm ivory, pale parchment, and soft stone gray paper. Showcase selected inner layers in soft turquoise, muted grass green, oxidized copper, and warm bronze brown. These colors should appear mainly along the exposed cut edges and in the deeper cavities, never as large, flat painted patches. Keep the outer surfaces predominantly ivory and paper white. Build significant physical depth, about 3-5 inches. Foreground forms extend forward through many layers, secondary forms occupy the middle depths, and recesses visibly descend through dozens of stacked sheets. Preserve original overlaps and spatial order. Showcase the authentic qualities of the paper: visible sheet thickness, sharp cut edges, fine natural fibers, subtle hand-made irregularities, slightly softened corners, and subtle shadows between adjacent layers. Individual sheets should remain visible, especially along curved edges and in deep openings. The finished vertical artwork should be presented as a unique contemporary paper sculpture, mounted on a neutral, warm gray museum wall. Photograph almost head-on, slightly tilted to the lower left, revealing the stacked layers without altering the original composition. The soft, raking gallery light from the upper left creates subtle self-shadows and clearly reveals the varying depths. It is highly detailed, tactile, elegant, physically possible and sharply focused. The source drawing should remain instantly recognizable.
