  • Prompt: A menagerie of animals stand together facing forward, standing side by side. They are these animals specifically: deer, fox, rabbit, squirrel, armadillo, possum, hawks, owls, other small birds, bats, raccoons, toads, frogs, tortoises, and lizards, like those found in East Texas forests. Smaller animals on the antlers of the deer, and on the backs and heads of the taller animals. They are posed as though they are gathered for a group photo. In the background there is a mangled forest that has been clearcut. Some of the scrub bushes are still there and roots of stumbs sticking up from the ground. There are many broken stems and limbs. The illustration style features fine ink linework combined with soft watercolor washes, capturing rich textures of the animals and background in gentle, natural daylight. Watercolor painting, ink sketch outline, highly detailed, rustic charm, soft natural lighting, earthy color palette, fine linework, detailed atmosphere, realistic textures, artistic illustration, storybook style, hand-drawn look, nostalgic, sad.
