Prompt: A haunting, atmospheric gothic fantasy scene inside a dim Victorian sewing room, rendered with rich painterly detail and a dark, poetic mood. At the center sits an elderly seamstress at a cluttered worktable, shown from the waist up, slightly leaning forward in concentration. She has very pale, ghostly skin, a tired mournful face, delicate cracked texture around the eyes and forehead, deep shadows beneath her eyes, and soft silver-white hair pinned into a loose untidy bun with wisps escaping around her face. Her expression is sorrowful, withdrawn, and almost spectral.
She wears a dark black-violet antique dress with worn lace, high collar, and faded Victorian detailing. In her hands she is carefully sewing or mending a piece of sheer black gauze or netting, and from the cloth rise translucent ghostly butterflies — delicate funeral butterflies made of lace, smoke, ash, and pale silvery light. Some butterflies are half-formed, some drift upward in curling mist, and some appear as fragile stitched apparitions. Their glow is subtle, cold, and eerie, like moonlit embroidery becoming alive.
The room is filled with butterfly imagery and mourning relics. On the walls behind her hang framed black butterfly specimens, pinned sketches, aged papers, and faded notes. To the right stands a dress form draped in a dark garment, adding to the atelier feeling. On the table are spools of black thread, scissors, pins, lace scraps, old papers with butterfly drawings, wilted flowers, small tools, and a softly glowing antique oil lamp on the left casting a low amber light. The light should illuminate her hands and face gently, while the rest of the room recedes into velvety shadow.
The overall palette is charcoal black, smoke gray, dusty violet, antique ivory, muted sepia, and faint silver-white, with only a small warm amber glow from the lamp. Emphasize rich textures: aged paper, old wood, lace, soot, cracked skin, smoky transparency, worn fabric, and delicate butterfly wings. The atmosphere should feel funereal, intimate, sorrowful, and beautiful, as if she is sewing memories or souls back into winged form. Highly detailed, cinematic, moody, and visually dense, with the butterflies and smoke creating elegant movement around the otherwise still figure.
