Prompt: When the Poppies Crowned the Night.
A sumptuous whimsical watercolor, ink and gilded-collage portrait on warm ivory handmade paper. Place an extraordinarily beautiful East Asian woman in her twenties across the right half of a wide horizontal canvas, shown in graceful side profile with her chin lifted toward an unseen moon. One elegant arm curves overhead, framing her face. Her visible smoky grey-blue eye looks upward with iridescent clarity; her pale skin carries cool lavender shadows, tender rose cheeks and glossy muted-coral lips. Short raven curls and translucent teal-black strands surround her face.
Crown her hair with enormous crimson and garnet poppies, deep burgundy petals, petrol-teal leaves and small hanging chains of antique gold. Her raised arm wears an ink-black translucent glove or sleeve covered with ornate curling gold vines, tiny flowers and jewel-like accents. Continue this intricate black-and-gold ornament across her shoulder and bodice, blending it with mosaic fragments of ruby, turquoise, rose and amber. Place one delicate gold flower at her throat with two slender red pendants.
Let the left third remain spacious parchment, animated only by a few loose red poppies, ghost blossoms and watery stains drifting upward. The dark floral crown should bloom dramatically from the center, creating a bold diagonal toward her raised hand. Balance theatrical richness with raw breathing paper.
Use layered watercolor blooms, granulation, charcoal veils, free ink filaments, torn-paper edges, gold gouache and irregular gilded tracery. Let colors bleed beyond contours; preserve buckled paper texture, translucent overlaps, splashes and incomplete marks. The result feels like an Art Nouveau jewel box opened inside an unruly sketchbook: ornate, playful, sensual and handmade. No photorealism, plastic skin, clean vector geometry, modern fashion photography or mechanically repeated patterns.

Soul Line: When the poppies crowned the night, she lifted her face and discovered the moon had been waiting for her.
