A clay pot darkened by rain stands beside the closed window of an abandoned blue wooden house. A flowering violet chicory plant has grown from it with tender stubbornness, sending long woody branches across the peeling frame. Several luminous violet flowers open among rust-coloured leaves, their warm white centers glowing softly against deep teal wood. One blossom rests near the glass, accompanied by a pale reflection that almost resembles another flower blooming inside the empty room.
