Prompt: Create an image from the following:-
Heavy heart
The anchor held for far too long,
A heavy chain, a tired song.
I walked the line, I played my part,
While quiet fractures split my heart.
It was no sudden, sharp descent,
No sudden spark, no moment spent
In anger’s heat or fleeting whim,
The light had simply grown too dim.
I stood within a narrowing space,
Searching for a kinder place,
And found that to remain the same
Was only to sustain the flame.
So with a hand that shook with grief,
I sought the silence and relief.
A choice I made, though hard to bear,
To clear the heavy, stagnant air.
I step away from what we knew,
To find a path that's bright and new.
The door is closed, the knot undone,
The long, reluctant race is run.
I wish them peace, I wish them light,
A steady star to guide their night.
May they find roads where they can grow,
And learn the grace of letting go. No text.
