  • Prompt: Quantum Computer The External and Internal Structure Dilution Refrigerator: The computer is housed in a large, sealed metal cylinder that is sealed from the outside. When the casing is opened, the internal structure is revealed – a series of shelves and round plates made of gold-plated copper, sandwiched under each other with tubes and cables. Extensive cable network: Hundreds of thin, twisted coaxial cables (in copper and gold tones) run along the "chandelier". These cables transmit precise microwave signals from the regular computer that manages the system to the quantum chip. Temperature gradient: Each rod/shelf in the structure is at a lower temperature than the shelf above it. The top part is almost at room temperature, while the lowest part reaches a temperature close to absolute zero (about 0.01 Kelvin, colder than outer space). The Quantum Processor At the bottom of the golden structure, inside a small protective box that seals it from radiation and light, is the quantum processor itself: The size of the chip is similar to the size of a regular computer chip (about the size of a stamp or coin). It is usually made of sapphire or silicon, and on it are printed thin superconducting circuits that create the Qubits (quantum bits). The surrounding peripheral equipment The quantum computer itself does not stand alone in the room: It is surrounded by huge support systems – compressors, tanks of liquid helium, and regular server racks filled with electronic equipment that generates and measures the microwave signals.
