  • Prompt: BEFORE THE FIRST MARK, SHE LISTENED Poetic Palette: Bone White · Burnt Umber · Soot Black · Faded Sepia · Tarnished Gold · Studio Dust. Create a wide 16:9 sepia-toned mixed-media painting of a woman artist confronting an almost untouched canvas. In the centre-left, place an elegant East Asian woman, approximately thirty years old, seated sideways on a low studio stool. She wears a loose, fully buttoned ivory painter’s shirt with softly rolled sleeves and a long dark skirt. Her black hair is gathered into an imperfect low knot with a few wisps around her face. Her body angles toward the large easel on the right. Her head is bowed slightly, and both eyes are naturally open and lowered toward the pale canvas, her expression thoughtful, uncertain and deeply attentive. One relaxed hand rests open on her dark skirt; the other rests lightly beside her on the stool. Keep both gestures ordinary, naturally expressive and secondary to her face. A tall black wooden easel occupies the right third, supporting a large vertical canvas washed in warm bone-white. The canvas remains almost blank: only faint grey-beige underpainting, two or three erased smudges and the visible tooth of the linen. Do not place a finished portrait, recognizable object or writing on it. The emptiness of the canvas should feel active, luminous and slightly intimidating. Let the surrounding studio dissolve into shadow and painterly suggestion. On the left, imply a worktable with indistinct brushes, jars and folded cloth; behind her, softened rectangles of old canvases merge into brown-black darkness. A pale wash of light falls across her shirt and the blank canvas, while the floor, skirt and far corners gather into deep umber. Use layered oil, coffee-coloured wash, charcoal, graphite, dry brush, scraped gesso and thin translucent glazing on coarse canvas. Allow visible brush drag, rubbed passages, smoky edges and occasional exposed ground. Avoid photographic realism, crisp contemporary décor and excessive props. The scene should feel old, intimate and timeless, as though the entire studio has paused to hear what the first brushstroke might ask of her. FineArt. EmmAI Fragile Vision. No text, lettering, symbols or watermarks, except for the required signature. Add the clearly legible handwritten signature “Emma Leila” followed by one tiny hand-drawn autumn maple leaf at the bottom right corner. Keep the complete signature and leaf safely inside the artwork. Soul Line: Before she touched the canvas, she listened for the painting already breathing inside it.
