  • Prompt: A gritty contemporary Great Plains graphic-novel page in black-and-white ink, evoking modern rural America and contemporary ranch culture in Nebraska or Wyoming. Realistic human anatomy, expressive but restrained faces, no caricature. At the center, a woman in her early fifties stands large in the composition, breaking across the surrounding comic panels. She is the same woman shown in the memories, now visibly weathered by a difficult life, with tired, lived-in features but still clearly recognizable. Seen from behind in a three-quarter turn, she glances back over her shoulder with a flat, unreadable expression. She wears a heavy, worn contemporary ranch/work coat with a sheepskin collar. Around her are exactly five smaller black-and-white comic panels showing the same woman decades earlier, clearly recognizable as her younger self in the early-to-mid 1990s. The people, clothing and setting are contemporary 1990s America, with subtle Great Plains and ranch-culture character — no historical Old West, no cowboys, no 1950s styling. Panel 1: the young woman laughing on a porch step. Caption: “SHE HAD PLANS.” Panel 2: the young woman holding a violin case. Caption: “SHE WANTED TO PERFORM ON A BIG STAGE.” Panel 3: the young woman standing in a wheat field with her arms spread wide. Caption: “SHE WANTED TO BREAK OUT OF THE ORDINARY.” Panel 4: the young woman grinning among her contemporary friends in a small-town American country bar. Caption: “SHE WANTED TO BE HAPPY.” Panel 5: the young woman running beneath a vast open sky. Caption: “THAT GIRL BELIEVED IT.” Exactly five rectangular comic-book caption boxes, one for each memory panel, with exactly these lines and no additional text. The memory panels use lighter, more open ink rendering, while the present-day woman is rendered with dense crosshatching, heavier black shadows and deeper contrast. Fine hand-drawn ink lines, halftone screentone texture, authentic graphic-novel page composition. The five memories should feel like fragments of one real woman's lost youth, not generic comic-book characters. The emotional contrast between the hopeful younger woman and the unreadable woman she became should remain subtle and unresolved. No large blank white areas. Fill all empty spaces behind the central figure with subtle, irregular ink-wash shading, fine crosshatching and textured halftone tones. Let the background gradually darken toward the outer edges, framing the woman without obscuring her silhouette or competing with the five memory panels. Keep the composition cohesive, like a fully finished graphic-novel page.
