  • Prompt: Abstract impressionism landscape of Main Street, Southwest Harbor, Maine, in early November. Predawn fog hangs heavy, obscuring distant details, with a soft, diffused glow from a few open shop windows and a grocery store. Focus on impasto brushstrokes, visible underpainting peeking through, and complex, overlapping layers of paint creating rich textures. Deep perspective draws the eye down the street, with complementary colors, especially cool blues and greens against warm, muted oranges and yellows from the lights. Delicate stippling adds texture to the fog and reflections. Rendered with a rich palette knife for thick, expressive applications of paint. Moody, atmospheric, and tranquil.
