Auto-Sort Dreamer's own public Dreams into Three Tiers based on User-Selectable levels of Likes Received #289
Many Dreamers delete all their public Dreams which got fewer likes (probably to make their first few pages more impressive).
Since a Dreamers own posts compete with each other on each day, the net result is that large numbers of excellent Dreams are never seen beyond day one!
So, my Feature Request is to have Tiers to view on Dreamers own pages. The individual Dreamer would decide where the splits were made based on number of likes received. For example split at 65 likes and 30 likes.
When viewed, the highest tier would be as now with all highly liked Dreams. When 'View the middle Tier' was selected all Dreams between (in my example) 30 and 65 would be seen. When 'View low Tier' was selected, this (in my example) would show all candidates for Hiden Gems, provided they were at least 7 days from posting.
For the more successful Dreamers, this system would avoid totally deleting good but less immediately liked Dreams. More good Dreams would remain for viewers to explore in the lower Tiers.
I forgot to say that this system would allow Dreamers to make some of their good Dreams with less likes (which they had previously returned to Private mode) Public again - without affecting their Tier 1 Headline pages.
On thinking about this some more, I realised that my suggested Tier system should only 'Kick-In' after 36 hours of a Dream being Public on DDG. Obviously, until then, a Dreamer would want all newly posted Dreams to be on the first page of their Dreams.
